The college has women empowerment cell to strengthen girl students and women staff to face the challenges of the present days. The cell organizes programs to bring awareness about challenges faced by women in personal and professional spaces and motivate girl students. The following events have been held by the cell so far.

Addressing the issues related to women staff & students of the college and Gender Sensitization is the main objective of the cell.
Providing girls an opportunity to come together and to express their thoughts and ideas in promoting their welfare.
Inspiring them for empowerment socially and financially through regular guidance & counseling.
Making women students aware of the social responsibilities and giving them mental support to fight against sexual harassment of women students and for other women of the society through guidance and counseling.

An Awareness program on Gynic problems was held on 17-08-2015.
Self Defense Course was organized by the Women Cell of the college with the cooperation of Vasanth Lakshmi Charitable trust to the students of the college.
Cancer awareness lecture was organized on 18-08-2015.
International Women’s day celebrations were conducted on 08-03-2016.
Guest lecture by Dr. Andal Bhaskar, Gynecologist on issues related to women health was organized on 14-07-2016.
World day against Trafficking in persons on 30-07-2016.
Talli pala varotsavalu celebrations on 01-08-2016.Adolescent training program for enhancing Life Skill Development on 7-10-2016.
