Infrastructure - Library
College has a very good spacious central library – a learning resource center with large collection of text books, reference books, back volumes, journals, old literature, books for competitive exams such as SLET/SET, UGC/CSIR NET, Civil Services, I CET, PG CET, AP State Group services etc., periodicals and dailies. In addition, all the departments are maintaining, departmental libraries to issue frequently used books by the students altogether it carries 46450 text books and reference books, 6000+ e-journals and 199500+ e- books through N-LIST. The library is kept open from 9 AM to 5 PM on all working days and catering the needs of more than 1000 students and staff. Whenever revision takes place in curriculum, indent of required books and number of copies is collected from Heads of Department and order is placed. New books are made available to the students and staff at the earliest.
In the beginning of every academic year after the admission of I year Degree students, an Orientation program is conducted on the rules & regulations, usage of library and e-facilities available in the library.
All the library services are fully automated using Soul 3.0 and Webprox solution software. Barcoding technology is used in transactions. The vision and mission of the institution is successfully realized through the library by providing access to all resources in a comfortable environment.
